FULL-TIME NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in GLENVIEW, IL 60025

This warm, friendly family-oriented household has 2 children: 1.5-year-old girl and 2-month-old baby boy and is seeking a warm, engaging, friendly and professional Nanny-Mother's Helper to stay with their family long-term. This role is ideal for someone early in their nanny career who is excited to grow in a hands-on environment while working closely alongside mom in a supportive, structured household.  The family values a traditional, family-centered home environment and is looking for a caregiver who naturally aligns with a wholesome, professional, and child-focused approach to caregiving.

Duties include: Assisting mom throughout  the day with childcare and light household support, newborn care (diapers, feeding, naps, etc.), prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare healthy snacks and meals for older child, drive children to/from activities, play and engage in developmentally appropriate play--reading, singing, early childhood learning, outdoor play, museums, park, summer swimming ,etc., follow parents’ guidance on all developmental, behavioral, and value-related topics, children’s laundry, toy organization, tidying common areas, dishwasher loading/unloading, and confidently alternate between working independently and tag-teaming with mom. Occasionally time will be spent at grandparents' nearby home, and nanny will need to be okay with interacting with extended family in a warm, multi-generational environment.  

The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, calm, warm and engaging.  Professional appearance required – polished, neat, and appropriate for representing our family in public and social settings (no visible facial piercings or tattoos other than earrings). Must know how to swim (grandparents’ home has a pool). Comfortable working in a private, high-trust household environment; confidentiality and discretion are essential, and a standard NDA will be required

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week. 

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm (Tuesday and Friday will typically be at the grandparent's house nearby, depending on the week)

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands. Must have a clean driving record 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor-BEFORE TAXES
