PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60659 (North Park)

This active family of 4 is seeking a responsible, compassionate, and efficient Housekeeper-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: deep clean and maintain the 1,500 square foot home, wash dishes, vacuum and mop the floors, change linens, do the laundry, meal prep (this is a plus but not must), and occasionally take care of the baby girl who is 6-months-old (example: maybe for an hour while mom runs an errand). Mom works from home on occasion. The ideal candidate will be reliable, polite, and sweet.

This is a part-time position for 3 days and 12 hours per week.

Work days and hours

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9am-1pm (can be somewhat flexible on start/end times)

NOTE: No driving is needed for this position however, if Housekeeper-Household Manager takes own car to/from work there is free street parking available.

Salary: $30 per hour TAKE HOIME

WEEKEND NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in SAINT CHARLES, IL 60175

This busy and nice family have 2 children: 5-year-old girl and 1.5-year-old girl and is seeking a versatile, helpful, and playful Weekend Nanny-Mother’s Helper to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: playing with the oldest child while mom takes care of the baby, switching off and taking care of the baby (diapers, feeding, naptime) while mom plays with the oldest, do arts/crafts, imaginative play, organizational projects, clean out closets, do the dishes, laundry, cook meals for the family (they are open to anything), and run occasional errands. Parents will be home. The ideal candidate will be a great multi-tasker, a hard-worker, be creative, and take initiative.

Work days and hours

Saturday and Sunday: For 6-8 hours per day (flexible on start time but end time must either be 5pm or 6pm)

NOTE: Nanny must be experienced driver. Family car will be provided.

NOTE: Date night or traveling with the family is a plus but not a must!

Salary: $27-$30 per hour

This busy couple is seeking a trustworthy, diligent, and experienced Housekeeper to stay with them long-term. Duties include: deep clean and maintain the 3,500 square foot home, clean the kitchen and do the dishes, do the laundry, put things away, cat chores (feed them and clean their litterboxes), clean the outdoor cabana and outdoor furniture during the summer months (vacuuming, wiping down, tile floor cleaned once a week), taking care of high-end wall rugs and luxury items in the home, and cleaning up after dinner. MUST LOVE CATS! Cats stay indoors so must make sure cats do not get outdoors. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE CARING FOR HIGH-END RUGS AND LUXURY ITEMS. Couple sometimes works from home (but not usually). The ideal candidate will be neat, organized, and kind.

Monday-Friday: 12pm-5pm or 1pm-6pm

Children are in school until 3:05pm, so part of the day will be dedicated to household management tasks. Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, meal prep, making lunches for the next day, run errands as needed, help get dinner started, organizational projects, take family vehicle to be serviced (gas, wash, etc.) as needed, wait for repairs/maintenance services as needed, pick up children from school, drive to/from after-school activities, ensure children do their homework, ensure children help with chores, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with the children-arts and crafts, games, sports, etc., and take to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, museums, swimming, etc.. This warm family of 4 is seeking an experienced, calm and detail-oriented Housekeeper to stay with them long-term.  Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the very large home--(regularly used rooms are to be cleaned daily (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, hallway) and then other parts of the home that are used less regularly can be cleaned as needed/on a schedule that the Housekeeper comes up with), make beds, change linens, family laundry, ironing--as needed and typically shirts, pick up clutter/keep things organized, water indoor plants and load/unload dishwasher. The ideal candidate will be honest, careful and kind. Parents work from home.

Option 1:

Job Details

Compensation

• Total Annual Compensation: $45,000 – $52,000

Duties include: deep clean and maintain the 2,000 square foot home (including baseboards and couches), vacuuming and mopping floors, laundry, steaming and ironing clothes as needed, decluttering and home organization, occasional errands (dry cleaning, donation drop-off, etc.), watering outdoor plants, cleaning outdoor areas as needed--sweeping patio, wiping down furniture/glass tables, etc., help put away groceries as needed, and meal prep if time allows/if candidate is interested (not a must)--such as washing and chopping veggies, etc. Family is very clean and would like a candidate that is very thorough with the deep cleaning. This  fun-loving family has 2 children: 4 year old girl and 6 year old girl and is seeking a reliable, calm and organized Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Children are in full day school and camps, so the position will be a mix of nanny and household management duties. Duties will include: getting children ready for school in the morning (ensuring dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast, school lunch, backpack, water bottle together, etc.), preparing snacks and meals for kids, cleaning up after meals, load/unload dishwasher, driving children to/from school, driving children to/from after-school activities, pack lunches for kids, meal prep (wash/chop fruits and veggies, etc.), organizational projects (ex: closet organization for kids, rotating clothes, organization of toys/bins, etc.), light housekeeping, family laundry, helping with grocery deliveries, run occasional errands-such as dry cleaning, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids when they are home-games, pretend play, arts and crafts, reading books, singing songs/musical instruments, playing outside, etc. and take children to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, swimming, etc.. Family follows a gentle parenting approach with firm boundaries. Nanny should be comfortable following this approach and be very loving and kind. The ideal candidate will be punctual, creative, fun and communicative. Dad works from home a few days a week. 

NOTE: Nanny will have to use her car to drive children to/from school and activities and will get compensated for mileage.

Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the 6,000 square foot home, make beds, change linens, pick up clutter/put away, load/unload dishwasher, water the plants,  organizational projects, laundry, iron--as needed-typical men's shirts, household supply shopping. pet care--feed dogs, clean up after pets (throw puppy pad away, wipe down area, etc.) and drive child to school in the morning (17 years old--5 minutes away--drop off at school--given he's 17, this will only be needed for1 more year). Housekeeper should be proactive and know how to come up with a cleaning schedule/routine for the home to ensure it's fully cleaned (ex: daily, weekly, monthly checklists). The ideal candidate will be meticulous, kind and an excellent communicator. Their current Housekeeper is retiring after 15 years being with them, so they would love to find a candidate that is looking to stay long-term as well!

Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the 7,000 square foot home (daily housekeeping of main living areas and weekly and monthly cleaning tasks for other areas of the home), make beds, change bed linens, load/unload dishwasher, organizational projects and coming up with organizational systems, putting items away in the correct spots (ex: putting groceries away in the right places, putting everyone's clothes in the right drawers/closets, putting cleaning supplies away at the end of the day, etc.), family laundry, ironing/steaming as needed-ex: if shirts or sheets are very wrinkly, they will need to be ironed/steamed, pet care--let dogs out, walk dogs 2x a day, feed dogs, take to vet/groomer as needed, etc., occasional errands, and occasionally be able to help schedule vendors and be there for when they are at the home.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, trustworthy, kind and dedicated. Housekeeper-Household Manager will need to come up with their own cleaning schedule (daily/weekly/monthly, etc.) and be able to take charge and manage that independently. This friendly and busy family has 3 children: 4.5-year-old girl, 2.5-year-old boy and 10-month-old girl is seeking an engaging, reliable and active Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: Create and implement lesson plans with the 2 oldest children (baby can go in pack and play, bouncer or sit next to nanny while the children work), infant care (feeding, diapers, naps, etc.), feed dogs and let them in the yard as needed, prepare snacks and meals for kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities for kids, read books, sing songs, do arts and crafts, and tidy up common areas. Parents work from home. The ideal candidate will be structured, happy and professional. 

The children have some medical needs (youngest has an egg allergy and requires an epi-pen in case of emergency, middle child has an overheating issue (from warm temperature and/or activity) and oldest has the same overheating issue and a choking issue. 

Requirements of the Nanny:

• Must be up to date on all vaccinations including tdap, MMR, Flu and COVID
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified
• Must have at least 5 years of professional Nanny experience 
• An education degree is plus-but not a must! 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (preferred) 35-39 hours per week:

Tuesday: 8am-5pm

Wednesday: 8am-5pm

Thursday: 8am-5pm

Friday: 8am-4pm

NOTE: Family can be flexible on the above scheduled if needed: 35-39 hours per week as long the added hours are Tuesday-Friday
